AWS Students
The dilemma
Some of the AWS students come to Dahlgren on TDY orders and will receive per-diem lodging. If this is you, please provide us your CNA and we can book you a room(s) at the normal per diem rate.
Some AWS students are PCS'd to ATRC for the AWS pipeline, and will not be receiving per diem for lodging, which means staying at a hotel isn't financially feasible. Instead, you may be assigned to the Barracks on base. If the Barracks is full, you should be issued a CNA to go off base.
If for some reason, you are not able to get into the Barracks AND are not issued a CNA to receive per-diem for lodging, but instead have to rely on your BAH, please contact us and we will try to work something out.
Rates and Reservations
As a policy, we will typically set aside an entire house for either Officer students or Enlisted students.
The nightly rate for a per-diem traveler is $98 per night, the same as any other TDY traveler.
If you fall into the aforementioned situation of having to rely on BAH, please email us and we'll see if we can work out a reduced rate that meets your budget.
Reminder!
All of our Haze Gray Lodgings are fully furnished, so if you are bringing your house hold goods (HHG) then you would need to put them into storage during your stay.
